The kraft paper bag is primarily intended as a secondary protective and presentation packaging, not as the main container for liquid or gel products. It is ideally used for packaging already filled bottles, vials, jars or smaller tins whose main packaging provides sealing and barrier protection. The paper bag adds an additional aesthetic, hygienic and transport layer.

The kraft paper bag is suitable for clear and uniform packaging of smaller cosmetic sets – for example a combination of an oil bottle, a balm jar and small accessories such as pipettes or spare closures. You can place several pieces of packaging or finished products into the bag, complement it with a label, stamp or a card with instructions and thus create a coherent and aesthetic gift bundle without the need for plastic bags or boxes.

The kraft paper bag can be used repeatedly as long as it is not mechanically damaged and basic hygiene principles are observed. In the case of repeated contact with cosmetics or packaging intended for products for the skin, we recommend protecting the bag from getting damp and from heavy contamination. The inner containers (bottles, jars, vials) must be thoroughly washed before each new filling and disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol ALK001 or plant-based ethanol ALK002. In this way you ensure the hygiene of the product, while the kraft bag fulfils the function of a secondary, mostly dry packaging.

If you decide not to use the kraft paper bag further, we recommend disposing of it in accordance with the recommendations resulting from the material designation given in the parameter table of the product. In practice, this means following the local rules for paper sorting – the bag should be clean, without significant residues of cosmetics or grease. If the paper is heavily soiled, according to local regulations it may belong in mixed waste. In this way you minimise the environmental burden and support the cycle of recyclable materials.
