Kraft paper bag with rectangular bottom is a practical and aesthetic packaging designed for packing cosmetic products, gift sets and small packaging materials such as bottles, jars, vials or pumps. Thanks to its sturdy construction and high-quality kraft paper, it is suitable for safely packing liquid and bulk products in secondary packaging, where it primarily performs a protective and presentation function. When used correctly, it helps protect the contents from mechanical damage and contamination during storage, transport and handover to the customer.

Is the kraft paper bag suitable as a primary packaging for liquid or bulk products?

The kraft paper bag is intended primarily as secondary packaging – that is, for packing already closed bottles, jars, vials and other packaging materials. It does not serve as a sealing primary packaging for liquid or bulk products, but is used mainly for protection, aesthetic presentation and creating gift packages.

What types of packaging are most often packed into these kraft bags?

Glass and plastic bottles with cosmetics, small vials, jars with creams or butters, containers with scrubs or sets of several smaller packages are most often placed in kraft paper bags. The bag is also suitable for packing empty packaging, pumps, sprayers and accessories when selling packaging materials to end customers or as a gift bundle for cosmetics manufacturers.

Is it possible to reuse the kraft bag when packing products?

The bag can be reused with careful handling, for example for storage or further gift packaging, but only if it remains undamaged and clean. When reusing, we recommend checking the inner surface and, in case of contact with a cosmetic product or contamination, using a new bag. Primary packaging that you place inside (bottles, jars, vials) must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each filling, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, in accordance with the hygiene principles of your production.

How can I correctly recycle the kraft bag if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the bag, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation and recommendations in the product parameters. In general, clean kraft paper bags without plastic or metal parts belong in the separate paper collection. Before disposal, remove any non-paper parts (decorative ribbons, metal accessories, etc.) to simplify processing in the recycling process. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the information provided with the product.

What should I pay attention to when filling and packing products into bottles and jars that I then place into the kraft bag?

Before filling, it is important that all primary packaging (bottles, vials, jars, containers) is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol according to recommended procedures. After closing, check the sealing and any leaks so that the bag is not contaminated. Only then insert the products into the kraft bag and, if necessary, fix them with filling material to prevent movement and impacts of the packaging inside during transport.
