pH: 7
Essential oil content: 0.062%

Hydrolate, flower or floral water is an aromatic water that is produced as a by-product in the production of essential oils. It is a high quality, pure natural product. Since they are created during the distillation of essential oils, they contain all the valuable plant essences, but in a much milder form. Usually containing less than 1% essential oil, they can therefore be used directly on the skin.

They are also suitable for pregnant women and newborns (depending on the specific herb). Flower waters support the skin's natural pH, soothe and refresh the skin, and have healing effects on inflamed and damaged skin.
They can be used as:

- skin and body tonic - alone or in combination with other ingredients
- a suitable ingredient in the manufacture of creams, body milks and clay masks
- soothing poultice for tired eyes
- as a base for aromatic body sprays and perfumes
- as an ingredient in shampoos, shower gels, fizzy bath bombs...
- as make-up remover, cleansing water, mouthwash
- for scenting rooms, certain fragrances are antiseptic
