Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, the integrity of the cap checked and, above all, it must be cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.

First, rinse the glass bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and remove residues of the original contents. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water, let it dry and, before filling, disinfect the surface and the interior using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Also clean the cap and check the seal to maintain the functionality of the closure.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle should be emptied, freed from residue of the contents and placed in a container intended for glass. The plastic or composite cap is sorted according to the material designation in the parameter table – it usually belongs in the container for plastics or in mixed waste if it is not intended for recycling. By following these principles, you support sustainable handling of packaging.
