The matte silver plastic cap 24/410 is a reliable closure designed for the secure sealing of cosmetic bottles and other containers with the corresponding thread. Thanks to the precisely manufactured thread and high-quality material, it helps protect the contents against leakage and contamination, which is important when packaging liquid as well as slightly viscous preparations.
The closure is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and craft products where practical, aesthetic and functional closure of the packaging is required. The matte silver surface completes the professional appearance of the final product and can be easily combined with various types of bottles and pharmaceutical vials.
The cap is intended for use with compatible bottles and containers with a matching thread, creating a functional and aesthetic whole. Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the solution fully meets the needs of your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The cap is designed for bottles and containers with the compatible thread specified in the product parameters. Within the Handymade range, suitable bottles, jars and vials that have been mutually tested are assigned to it. When using it with other containers, however, we recommend always checking the exact match of the thread and performing a sealing test before filling the entire series of products.
First fill the selected bottle with a smaller amount of your product, close it thoroughly with this cap and turn the container several times, or leave it for a certain time in both horizontal and vertical position. Observe whether any seepage occurs in the area of the thread and whether the closure remains firmly tightened during normal handling. It is also recommended to observe the behaviour of the closure during longer-term storage in order to verify the long-term stability of the solution.
The cap can be reused under certain conditions; however, it is always important to follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable agents such as isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ethanol 96 % denatured. When reusing, also monitor the condition of the thread and the inner part of the cap – if you notice visible wear or damage, it is recommended to replace the closure with a new one.
If you do not plan to continue using the cap, it is appropriate, after emptying and basic cleaning, to place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters for the given packaging. Commonly, plastic closures are sorted into the container designated for plastics, but local collection guidelines may differ. If the cap is heavily contaminated with product residues that cannot be easily removed, follow the recommendations of the local waste collection system and give preference to a disposal method that corresponds to the nature of the product used as the filling.
When choosing packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to neck type, required size, colour or material of the container and closure. In this way you can easily find the bottle, cap, pump or sprayer that will be mutually compatible and at the same time suitable for the specific product you are working with.
