Kraft paper pouch is a universal packaging material suitable for packing smaller cosmetic products, creative sets, gift sets as well as supplementary assortments. Thanks to the durable kraft paper, it reliably protects the inserted bottles, vials, jars or other containers against contamination and mechanical damage during storage and transport. The pouch is ideal for dry and solid products, or as a secondary packaging for liquid or powder mixtures that are already closed in a primary bottle or jar.

The kraft paper pouch serves as a secondary protective and gift packaging for various bottles, vials, jars, pots and other packaging materials with closures or dispensers already applied. You can insert containers with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or pumps, depending on which packaging you choose in the main category.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) before final filling and placing the product on the market.

Is the kraft paper pouch suitable as the main packaging for liquid or powder products?

The kraft paper pouch is designed primarily as a secondary packaging for bottles, vials, jars, pots and other closed containers. We do not recommend using it as a primary packaging for free-flowing powder or liquid products without a separate closed container inside. It is best used as a protective and gift packaging for already packed finished products.

Can several smaller bottles or jars be packed in the pouch at the same time?

Yes, you can place several smaller containers into the kraft pouch, for example sets of mini bottles, trial packs or a combination of a jar and a bottle. We recommend distributing the contents sensibly and, if needed, adding a soft filling material (paper filling, cotton wool, recycled material) so that glass or plastic packaging does not knock against each other during transport.

Can I reuse the kraft pouch for further product packaging?

The pouch can be reused if handled carefully, especially for internal storage or non-commercial purposes. When reusing, we recommend checking whether the paper is not damaged, soiled or soaked. If the pouch comes into contact with the primary packaging of cosmetics or products intended for the skin, it is advisable to follow basic hygiene rules and store it in a dry and clean environment. Primary bottles, jars and pots must always be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before refilling – for example, products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are suitable, as they are intended for the hygienic preparation of packaging before filling.

How should I correctly recycle the kraft paper pouch if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the pouch, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. A clean kraft paper pouch without significant contamination or grease is usually sorted into the container designated for paper waste. Before disposal, remove any non-paper components (plastic labels, metal clips, adhesive elements), if possible. Always adapt the exact method of recycling to the recommendations of your waste collection company and to the information given in the packaging parameters on the Handymade website.
