Plastic medicine bottle with aluminum top represents a practical packaging for smaller quantities of liquid and loose preparations where precise, protected and hygienic packaging is required. The combination of a high-quality plastic body and a solid aluminum closure allows safe preservation of the contents and convenient handling for home cosmetics, professional formulations and small-scale production.
The packaging is designed to provide good protection against external influences and unwanted leakage of the contents, while being easy to fill and store. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is also suitable for travel, sample sets or promo packs, where a professional appearance, repeatability of dosing and practical use are important.
The standalone medicine bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters – for example with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The medicine bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and the contents are handled appropriately. Before each new filling, the container and the closure must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product – for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for further safe use.
Before first use and for repeated filling, we recommend first rinsing the medicine bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent, then thoroughly rinsing with clean water and letting it drain. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure using alcohol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant. Before filling, the packaging must be completely dry in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and impact on the stability of the formula.
If you decide not to continue using the medicine bottle, we recommend first emptying it and, where possible, removing any residues of the original contents. The method of sorting and recycling the packaging is governed by the material designation indicated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. According to this designation, place the plastic body and the aluminum closure into the respective collection containers intended for the given material type. By following local waste-sorting rules, you support effective recycling and reduction of environmental burden.
This type of medicine bottle is particularly popular for smaller volumes of concentrated preparations where precise dosing and good closure are important. In practice, it is often used for facial and eye serums, local treatment preparations, oil mixes with actives, hair serums, trial samples of new formulations or travel packaging of existing products. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is also suitable for gift sets, starter kits and sample collections for clients.
