Yes, the bottle is designed as a universal packaging for different types of liquid formulations, including oil-based and water-based solutions intended for external use. When filling, we always recommend performing a trial compatibility test of your specific formulation with the packaging in order to verify the sealing of the closure, the stability of the contents and the behavior of the material during long-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol from our range IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. Disinfection helps to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your preparations.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and removing any remaining contents according to the nature of the substance used. Then follow the information about the material given in the parameter table for the product and sort the bottle into the appropriate container in accordance with local recycling rules. The metal cap should be sorted separately into metal collection, and the plastic body of the bottle into plastic collection. In this way, you support effective materials recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
The dark design of the packaging helps to reduce light penetration to the contents, which can be advantageous for formulations sensitive to light exposure, such as certain extracts, aromatic blends or products with a higher proportion of volatile components. Nevertheless, we recommend storing such products away from direct sunlight and under stable temperature conditions in order to maintain their quality throughout their usable life.
