The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed and the material is suitable for your specific formulation. Before each new filling, the bottle and dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). For plastic packaging it is important to avoid high temperatures to prevent deformation of the packaging and damage to the dosing mechanism.

Before repeated use we recommend first mechanically cleaning the packaging – rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution or a neutral cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Then disinfect the packaging and the dispenser with an alcohol-based preparation. In the Handymade range, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) and etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/) are intended for this purpose. After applying the disinfectant, allow the alcohol to evaporate completely before refilling the packaging. Do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher to avoid deformation.

This procedure is particularly useful when you are looking for a specific dosing type or need to harmonise several packaging items within one product line.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material information given in the product parameter table. First remove any product residues, rinse the packaging and, where possible, separate the individual parts (bottle body, pump, any caps). Sort the plastic parts into the plastics container according to the locally valid waste sorting rules. This reduces the amount of mixed waste and supports repeated use of raw materials. For contaminated packaging that cannot be sufficiently cleaned, follow the recommendations of your waste management service provider.

The medicine bottle with integrated dispenser is most suitable for liquid and less viscous preparations where precise application in small amounts is required. In practice, these are usually facial serums, special solutions, intensive treatments, care products intended for local use or concentrated extracts. The pump enables controlled dispensing, reducing the risk of product wastage and increasing user comfort during everyday use.

Store the filled bottle in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not place the packaging near radiators, in the interior of a car in the sun or in other areas with extreme temperature fluctuations, to avoid the risk of deformation of the bottle or damage to the dosing mechanism. Also observe the recommended storage conditions for the product itself (for example, protect from moisture or contamination) to maintain the quality and stability of your formulation.
