Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the nasal applicator and then disinfecting them with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready for a new filling.

First, we recommend rinsing the packaging with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, and thoroughly rinsing it with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. Then it is necessary to carry out disinfection – treat the inside of the bottle, the tube and the applicator with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, leave all parts to dry completely at room temperature. Do not use high temperatures, do not boil and do not wash in a dishwasher, in order to prevent deformation of the plastic.

This plastic packaging is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures. When heated above the recommended range, there may be deformation of the bottle or damage to the spray mechanism, which negatively affects sealing and dosing. For this reason, we do not recommend sterilizing the packaging by boiling or washing it in a dishwasher. For hygienic preparation before filling, use mechanical cleaning with lukewarm water and subsequent disinfection with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it after the contents have been used up, in accordance with local waste sorting rules and with the material information stated in the product parameters on Handymade.sk. Before placing it in the appropriate container, empty the bottle as much as possible and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues. If possible, unscrew the applicator from the bottle body so that the individual parts can be classified into the correct type of sorted waste according to their material designation.
