The 24/410 matte black plastic cap is a professional closure for cosmetic and technical formulations that reliably protects the contents of bottles and vials from leakage and contamination. This closure is designed to be functional across a wide range of viscosities – from thin toners to thicker emulsions. In combination with a properly selected bottle or vial, it provides a practical, aesthetic and at the same time durable solution for packaging and long‑term storage of your preparations.
Yes, you can reuse the closure if it is handled properly. For each new filling, however, it is important to follow hygiene rules – before use we recommend thoroughly cleaning the cap and the respective bottle and then disinfecting them. For disinfection, products such as IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured are suitable; you can find them in our range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination during further use of the packaging.
Compatibility is always determined by technical parameters – especially the type and size of the neck of the packaging. For this closure, you need to check whether the bottle or vial has an identical thread and neck dimension as stated in the product parameters. We recommend trying a sample combination and testing sealing, handling and the behaviour of the specific formulation in contact with the closure, particularly for products containing oils or with a high alcohol content.
First clean the closure mechanically to remove product residues and rinse it with a suitable cleaning agent or warm water with a mild detergent (if this is in line with the nature of your formulation). Then allow it to dry thoroughly, and before refilling we recommend disinfecting it with an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured. It is important that no residues of cleaning agents remain on the surface of the closure or in its thread which could affect your final product.
If you decide not to use the closure any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameter table. First remove as much residual content as possible so as not to contaminate the sorted waste. Then put the cap into the collection container designated for that type of plastic according to local waste‑sorting rules. In this way, you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of waste in the municipal system.
