Plastic bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with black flip-top cap represents a practical and reliable packaging for liquid preparations, gel and lightly viscous formulations. Thanks to precise closing and easy one-handed opening, it is suitable for dispensing products where control of the amount and clean application are important. Combinations of packaging and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected combination is fully suitable for your product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it correctly and recycling it according to the material designation given in the product parameter table. The recycling symbol on the packaging and the information in the product parameters will guide you to the appropriate collection container, so that the material can be efficiently recovered within the recycling system.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed, especially within your own home or artisan production. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using suitable alcohol-based preparations, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. In this way you ensure that the new product will not be contaminated by residues of the previous filling or by microorganisms.
Before re-use we recommend disassembling the bottle and cap into accessible parts, rinsing them with warm water and detergent, and then thoroughly rinsing with clean water. After washing, leave all parts to dry freely at room temperature. Only then is it suitable to perform disinfection using a suitable alcohol, for example with products available on Handymade. Make sure that no residues of cleaning agents remain in the cap, as these could affect the fragrance, stability or safety of your formulation.
If you decide not to use the bottle with cap any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Then follow the recycling marking of the material given in the parameter table at the product on Handymade and the recycling symbol on the packaging itself. According to this information, sort the packaging into the appropriate container intended for the collection of the given type of plastic. Thanks to correct sorting, the material can be reprocessed and the amount of waste ending up in landfill or incineration is reduced.
The compact shape of the bottle and the flip-top cap make it a very practical solution for travelling, carrying in a handbag and in smaller cosmetic organisers. The cap allows quick opening and closing without unscrewing, which reduces the risk of losing the cap. However, we recommend always carrying out your own leak test with your specific formulation and, during transport, placing the packaging vertically, or using a protective case or bag so that the contents are protected even in the case of stronger impacts or pressure changes.
