Transparent plastic cap 24-410 disc-top is a practical and aesthetically clean closure, suitable for convenient dispensing of liquid and semi-liquid products in both smaller and larger containers. Thanks to the disc-top mechanism, it enables controlled and hygienic squeezing out of the contents without the need for complete unscrewing, which reduces the risk of contamination and increases user comfort during everyday use of cosmetic and technical formulations.

FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this disc-top cap suitable for thicker products, or only for thin liquids?

The disc-top cap is designed to allow convenient dispensing of thin and slightly thicker liquids, for example shampoos, shower gels or body emulsions. With very thick formulations (for example oily creams), squeezing out can be more demanding, therefore we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the passage of the contents through the opening of the closure before filling the entire series of products.

How should I correctly fit the closure so that the bottle seals well and the contents do not leak?

For the cap to seal properly, it is necessary to screw it onto a compatible neck without cross-threading and tighten it only up to the moment when you can clearly feel the resistance of the material. We then recommend filling the bottle only up to the recommended level, closing the closure and performing a leak test – by briefly turning the container upside down and gently pressing on the body of the packaging. If no product leakage appears, the combination is suitable for use and transport.

Can the disc-top cap be reused when refilling the bottle?

The closure can be reused with careful handling, but it is always necessary to observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the cap and the container itself, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After complete drying, you can refill the packaging and safely use the closure again. In case of visible wear of the mechanism, deformation or damage, we recommend replacing the closure with a new one.

How can I dispose of or recycle the disc-top cap in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the closure any more, we recommend, after thoroughly emptying it and possibly rinsing off any residue of the contents, to place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters for the particular packaging. The information on the type of material and the corresponding recycling symbol will help you place the cap in the correct container. Always also follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality.
