Plastic cap 24/410 flip top is a practical closure designed for convenient dispensing of liquid and gel products in cosmetic as well as technical formulations. Thanks to the flip-top mechanism, it enables controlled squeezing of the contents from the bottle or vial without the need for completely unscrewing it, which increases hygiene, user comfort and reduces the risk of unintentional leakage of the contents.
The closure is particularly suitable for liquid products that are used frequently and in smaller doses – from cleansing face toners and lotions, through shampoos, to various emulsions or solutions. In combination with a suitable bottle or jar, you obtain a functional packaging that supports both the professional appearance and the practicality of your final product.
Bottles and other containers with the corresponding neck type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators – including flip-top caps – according to the selected parameters of the specific packaging. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the final product will be reliable during use.

The packaging with this cap can be reused repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the container and the cap, rinsing them and subsequently disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready to be refilled with the final product.
The flip-top cap is ideal mainly for liquid and semi-liquid formulations, such as gels, emulsions or solutions. For very thick creams or preparations with a high content of solid particles, dosing may be less comfortable. For this reason, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the flow, sealing and handling of the cap meet your requirements.
Caps and corresponding containers should be stored in a clean, dry and protected environment, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. It is recommended to keep them in their original packaging until the moment of use, in order to minimise dust or impurities entering the internal parts of the cap. Before the actual filling, it is always advisable to visually check that the threads and sealing surface are free from damage.
If you decide not to use the cap or the entire packaging any longer, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters for the specific packaging on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for separate collection, remove product residues, rinse the packaging and then place it in the appropriate container according to local recycling rules. Always follow the recycling symbols and recommendations stated for the given product.
