Black plastic pump 28 mm for glass medicine bottles is a practical dispensing component designed for precise, hygienic and comfortable dispensing of liquid products into cosmetic and technical formulations. Thanks to its functional dispensing mechanism, it helps reduce the contact of the contents with air and hands, thereby supporting the stability and cleanliness of the stored product throughout the entire period of use.
This solution includes a functional dispensing component designed for use with matching glass medicine bottles. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify long-term stability and trouble-free use under the conditions of your production or home use.

When selecting a pump, it is important to check the neck type and its match with the parameters of your glass medicine bottle in the “Product parameters” table. If you use the pump with the originally recommended bottle, the combination is tested and functional on Handymade. However, we always recommend carrying out your own test: check whether the thread seats smoothly, whether the pump doses correctly and whether, during repeated use, there is any leakage of contents around the thread or tube.
The pump can be reused as long as it does not show signs of mechanical wear and maintains reliable sealing and smooth operation. For repeated use, it is essential to observe hygiene principles: before refilling the bottle, all parts of the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In our range you will find suitable products for disinfection such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after completely drying is the pump ready for further use.
For even dispensing, it is important that the product consistency corresponds to the pump type – formulations that are too thick may increase resistance when pressing and promote clogging. Before first use, press the mechanism several times so that the tube is completely filled with the product. For formulations with solid particles (for example peeling grains), it is advisable to minimise these particles or use another dispensing type. If the outlet opening becomes clogged, gentle rinsing with a suitable solvent compatible with your formulation is recommended.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend primarily recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters for the respective bottle and pump. The glass medicine bottle can usually be handed over to separated glass collection after thorough emptying and rinsing. The plastic pump should be separated from the glass and placed in the appropriate separated waste according to the specified type of plastic. For residues of cosmetic preparations it is important to use up the contents as much as possible and minimise the remnants, so that the recycling process proceeds effectively and in accordance with local waste separation rules.
