In practice, it is often used for facial and body sprays, hydrosols, toners, hair tonics, air fresheners, perfume compositions or aromatherapeutic blends. Thanks to the dark glass, it is also suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to light, as long as they are suitable for spraying in terms of viscosity.

For trouble-free functioning of the sprayer it is important that the preparation does not contain particles that are too large or a significantly increased viscosity, which could clog the mechanism. It is recommended to first fill a smaller test amount and verify the smoothness of dosing, the fineness of the mist and the back suction of the product. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in sorted glass collection after removing any product residues and labels. The sprayer consists of several components (plastic, metal spring), so it usually cannot be sorted together with glass, and it is advisable to follow local rules for the handling of mixed or plastic packaging. Before disposal, always check the recommended recycling method in the parameters of the specific product.
