The glass vial represents a professional solution for packaging liquid and loose products in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and dietary supplement segments. High-quality glass is a stable and inert material that minimizes interaction with the contents, which makes the bottle suitable for sensitive formulations such as serums, tinctures or concentrated extracts. This type of packaging is ideal for precise dosing and safe storage of products that require reliable protection throughout their entire shelf life.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products containing alcohol, acids or a high proportion of essential oils.

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured plant ethanol. By following this procedure, you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of the final product.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any manufacturing dust and then disinfecting it with alcohol (ALK001 or ALK002 according to the Handymade offer). After applying the alcohol, let the inside of the packaging evaporate and dry at room temperature so that the packaging is clean and ready for contact with cosmetic or other formulations.
Glass vials are generally very suitable for concentrated essential oils, aromatherapeutic blends and alcohol-based tinctures, because glass is a chemically stable and inert material. However, when working with high concentrations of oils, we always recommend testing the compatibility of the specific blend with the closure, dropper or spray pump used, in order to ensure reliable sealing and dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass bottle should be placed in a collection container intended for glass. Sort the closures and any plastic or metal parts separately according to local waste collection rules. In this way, you support the circulation of materials and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
