The glass bottle with cream dispenser is a professional packaging intended mainly for filling cream and gel preparations that require precise and hygienic dosing. High-quality glass ensures high chemical resistance to common cosmetic components and the stability of formulations, which makes the bottle suitable for both artisanal and semi-professional cosmetic production. Dark, opaque glass naturally helps to reduce light penetration to sensitive components and contributes to better protection of the contents during storage.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters, especially with cream dispensers, screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, which are available in the relevant categories of the packaging range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very stable and resistant material suitable also for formulations containing essential oils at recommended cosmetic concentrations. However, in the case of a very high essential oil content or atypical components, we recommend carrying out your own stability test to verify the long-term behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging and the dispenser.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the next product batch.
Before first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inside of the packaging and, if necessary, also those parts of the dispenser that come into contact with the product with alcohol – for example using the preparations IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. Only after complete evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is normally sorted into the container intended for glass. The plastic or combined parts of the dispenser should be separated and placed in the appropriate container for plastics or residual waste, according to local sorting rules. Always adapt the exact recommendation to the data from the parameters of the specific packaging and the local waste collection system.
To make it easier to choose the packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Thanks to the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging. This gives you a more precise overview of the options that are suitable for your specific formulation and method of dosing.
