Glass vial with glossy dispenser represents a professional packaging suitable for dispensing cosmetic and medicinal preparations where precise and hygienic application is required. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from unwanted light and thus contributes to longer stability and quality of the contents. In combination with a practical dispenser, the packaging is ideal for liquid and lightly viscous formulations that require a controlled amount with each pump.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a practical dispenser that is adapted to its neck and type of contents. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the dispensing system matches the viscosity and surface tension of your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When choosing a suitable bottle or vial we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category, you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly select packaging that will match your formulation and the desired visual appearance.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the dispenser in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and maintain product stability. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-derived ethanol available in the Handymade assortment, always according to the recommendations for the specific type of contents.
Before reuse it is advisable to disassemble the bottle, remove residues of the original contents and thoroughly wash the glass part with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. After washing, allow all parts to dry completely. Afterwards the packaging must be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or high-concentration ethanol, which are available in the Handymade assortment. We recommend disinfecting the dispensing mechanism gently in order to avoid damaging the seals. Always follow the nature of your formulation and the required level of hygiene.
The dispenser is most suitable for liquid to lightly viscous preparations, such as serums, lower-viscosity emulsions, facial oils or solutions with a lower content of gelling agents. For very thick or strongly gel-like formulations, the pump function may be reduced, which is why we always recommend performing a test filling and a practical dosing test. If necessary, choose another type of packaging or dispensing system that better matches the consistency of the product.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Stability of the contents is also supported by minimizing frequent opening or disassembling of the dispensing system. For more sensitive active substances it is advisable to follow the recommendations of the formulator or raw material supplier and set storage temperature and duration accordingly. Always use a well-closed dispenser to limit the access of air and impurities.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass part should be freed from product residues and placed into the container intended for glass, while the plastic and metal components of the dispenser must be sorted according to local waste management rules. Before placing them in sorted waste, check which materials the individual parts are made of and follow the recommendations in your municipality. In this way you reduce environmental burden and support responsible handling of packaging material.
