The plastic bottle with dispenser represents a practical and aesthetic packaging suitable for modern cosmetic formulations as well as artisanally manufactured body care products. The transparent bottle enables visual control of the contents, while the shiny dispenser ensures comfortable and controlled application of liquids without unnecessary waste. The packaging is designed to be stable under normal use, suitable for liquid, gel and slightly viscous products, and at the same time to meet the aesthetic requirements for the finished product.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify the long-term stability and reliability of the packaging under your conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, but we always recommend following basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol from the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or plant ethanol from the product Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination of the new fill and ensures higher safety of the final product.
After emptying the packaging, it is appropriate first to rinse the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, and then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the previous fill. We then recommend disinfecting the bottle and the dispenser with an alcohol solution – it is practical to use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After treatment with alcohol, allow the packaging to dry naturally at room temperature. For plastic packaging, we do not recommend boiling or using a dishwasher, in order to avoid damage.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently filter by type of neck, required size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that matches your formulation and product design, and more easily find a suitable bottle, jar or vial for the specific purpose.
Plastic packaging made from a material such as PET is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. In contact with a liquid that is too hot, or when attempting thermal sterilisation, deformation of the packaging, deterioration of the sealing and changes in the mechanical properties of the bottle or dispenser may occur. For this reason, washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended, even for disinfection purposes. When filling, it is appropriate to use contents cooled to room temperature and to carry out disinfection exclusively using alcohol-based agents, not heat.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. Before handing it over to separate collection, it is appropriate to empty and rinse the bottle so that no product residues remain inside. Then place the plastic packaging in the container intended for plastics according to the local rules for separate collection. By assigning it correctly to the appropriate waste stream, you support the recycling process and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste. In the case of a combination of several materials (for example a plastic body and another type of closure), it is advisable to separate the parts before recycling if this is technically possible.
