White Plastic Bottle, White Nasal Spray, 50 ml

The fine mist dispenser is designed for aqueous preparations with a thin consistency. In cosmetic practice, this mainly means:

• aqueous solutions with water-soluble active ingredients intended for local use.

Contact with cosmetics and food

The set as a whole is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity is listed with the product. Only the bottle has separate food contact certification. The dispenser does not, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics, not for food use.

Medicine vial is the name of the bottle shape, not a designation of purpose. The set is not intended for filling with medicinal products or preparations with a therapeutic effect.

Nominal and total volume

With packaging you will encounter two volume figures. Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for during normal filling and which is stated on the label. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them is a reserve for the dip tube and the body of the dispenser, which take up some space after screwing in, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will be pushed out through the neck after fitting the dispenser.

What is worth knowing before filling

Preparing the container. Before the first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to dry completely. Pump the dispenser with clean water and allow it to drain so that no residue remains in the mechanism.

First use. After filling and screwing on the dispenser, press it several times until the contents are drawn up and mist begins to emerge. This is normal behaviour of a mechanical dispenser, not a defect.

Dispenser composition. The dispenser is made of several materials – plastics, steel and glass. For saline solutions and preparations with lower pH, we recommend checking the behaviour of the mechanism with prolonged use in the finished formulation.

PET and sensitive ingredients. PET tolerates aqueous preparations and common cosmetic ingredients well. With a high proportion of essential oils, concentrated ethanol or other solvents, we recommend verifying the stability of the container in the specific formulation, as these substances may stress the plastic over time. Do not expose the bottle to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

Reuse. The bottle can be refilled after thorough washing and disinfection. The dispenser is more difficult to clean, so when changing the formulation or with contents that dry out, we recommend replacing it with a new one.

Label. The cylindrical shape of the bottle makes label application easier.

Other closures. The bottle has a neck with the thread type stated in the specifications. Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and belongs in sorted plastics. The dispenser is made of several materials, so unscrew it from the bottle before sorting.
