White plastic bottle, white spray pump, 100 ml is a ready-to-fill set for thin cosmetic preparations applied by spraying. The white bottle wall limits light exposure to the contents, and PET is lightweight and shatterproof, so the set holds up in the bathroom, during travel, and in a handbag. The pump delivers a small, even amount with each press, making it well suited for facial toners, hydrolats and hair sprays, refreshing body sprays, make-up setting sprays, or thin hand preparations.

The set as a whole is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics; the declaration of conformity is available on the product page. The bottle alone holds a food-contact certificate; the pump does not, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetic use.

How the set works

The pump shares the same neck type as the bottle and is supplied pre-matched, so there is no need to test the fit or check different combinations for leaks. The dip tube reaches the bottom of the bottle, so the contents are used up with almost no residue. The mechanism is designed for liquids with low viscosity – aqueous and alcoholic solutions, hydrolats, toners with glycerin, or very thin oil blends. Thicker serums, emulsions and gels will not atomise into a fine mist; they will squirt in a stream or clog the pump.

White PET is opaque – the contents are not visible from outside. For preparations that lose stability in light, this is an advantage. If you need to monitor the level or colour of the contents, choose a transparent container instead.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the bottle is designed under normal filling conditions, and is the figure stated in the product name. The total volume to the brim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference accounts for the dip tube and pump mechanism and for the expansion of contents with temperature change. Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim: an overfilled bottle will overflow when the pump is screwed on, and the contents will get into the thread, where they are difficult to clean.

Good to know

• Suitable contents – aqueous and alcoholic solutions, hydrolats, toners, thin hair and body sprays. Undiluted essential oils, strong solvents and aggressive chemicals can damage PET and PP; with such contents we recommend testing the behaviour of the container on a single bottle over a period of several weeks.
• Heat – PET softens and deforms at higher temperatures. Do not fill with hot contents, do not wash in boiling water, and do not sterilise in an oven or microwave. Allow the preparation to cool to room temperature before filling.
• Reuse – after thorough washing and disinfection the set can be refilled; the procedure is described in the questions below.
• Labelling – the cylindrical bottle with a straight wall takes labels well. Label-appropriate dimensions are listed in the packaging parameters.
• Alternative closure – closures with the same neck type and other ready-matched combinations are available in the Handymade range. With a custom combination we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing behaviour, and container compatibility with your specific formulation.
• Recycling – the PET bottle and the PP pump belong in sorted plastics; separate them from each other before disposal.
