The aluminum bottle represents a lightweight, durable and professional-looking packaging solution, particularly suitable for liquid, viscous and free-flowing (powdered) formulations. Thanks to its robust aluminum body, it helps protect the contents from light and air exposure, which is advantageous when packaging more sensitive cosmetic preparations, concentrated blends or technical solutions. The compact bottle is comfortable to hold in the hand, easy to dose and is also ideal as a travel container for DIY and professional products.
Aluminum bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil and alcohol content, pH, etc.). When selecting a compatible closure, you can use the filtering function in the relevant category and thus match the neck size, design and type of application to the character of your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product specifications. When assessing suitability for a specific formulation, we recommend checking the information on the material, intended use and recommended application, and then carrying out a trial filling on a small sample of the product. If you decide not to recycle the packaging for further filling after it has been used up, it is appropriate to hand the bottle over to the system for sorted collection of metal packaging in accordance with local waste collection rules.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging (rinsing with a suitable medium according to the product type) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection, you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – for this purpose you can find the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný on Handymade. After treatment, allow the bottle to dry thoroughly in a clean environment and only then proceed to filling.
The aluminum bottle can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, check it for any damage and then disinfect it – suitable agents include, for example, IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný. Make sure that the bottle is dry before filling and that repeated use does not change the functionality of the closure or the sealing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that, after emptying it, you place it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product specifications. In the case of aluminum packaging, it is usually placed in the collection of metal packaging, or into containers intended for metals (according to local collection rules). Before disposal, empty the bottle as much as possible and, if possible, separate any plastic cap, which belongs to the appropriate plastics fraction. By following these principles, you contribute to effective material recycling.
The aluminum bottle is particularly suitable for cosmetic products, aromatic and technical solutions that do not require contact with a transparent or glass container. Suitability for a specific formulation (alcohol content, oil composition, pH or presence of active substances) must always be verified by your own stability and compatibility test. It is recommended to carry out a short-term trial filling and monitor any changes in appearance, scent or closure functionality.
