The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for home production and refilling of cosmetics or working solutions. Before each new filling, however, the medicine bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, which are suitable for cleaning packaging before refilling.

We recommend that the PET medicine bottle is first rinsed with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then thoroughly rinsed with clean water and left to dry naturally. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the internal space and the thread of the packaging with alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Clean the aluminium cap gently to avoid damaging the thread or sealing elements. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – the packaging is not intended for dishwashing in a dishwasher or for boiling, as there is a risk of deformation or reduction of its strength.

PET packaging is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked products, because high temperature can lead to deformation of the bottle and affect its stability. It is recommended to fill only after the product has cooled down to room temperature. At the same time, it is not advisable to expose the packaging for long periods to direct sunlight or heat sources, in order to preserve its dimensional stability and the good sealing of the cap.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The body of the medicine bottle is made of PET plastic, which is normally sorted into the container intended for plastics; it is advisable to empty it before disposal and, if possible, rinse it. The aluminium cap can be separated from the body and sorted into the container intended for metals or according to local collection rules. By following these principles, you support effective material recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
