The glass dropper bottle with sprayer represents a professional packaging for liquid products where a fine, even application in the form of a mist is important. The heavy glass in combination with a high-quality mechanical sprayer ensures comfortable dosing, good protection of the contents, and a representative appearance suitable for home as well as artisan brands.
The smoky glass helps reduce the penetration of light to the sensitive components of the formulation, which can contribute to better stability of colours, fragrance, and active ingredients. Such a bottle is suitable for filling various liquid preparations that require practical and at the same time aesthetic packaging in a smaller volume.
This glass bottle is supplied with a practical sprayer that is optimised for the given neck type and packaging volume. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your final product will function reliably in long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling. With each refilling, however, it is important to follow basic hygiene principles – the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before use. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of technical grade, which you can find in the offer as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to air out thoroughly and dry.
The bottle with sprayer is ideal especially for low-viscosity liquid preparations on a water or alcohol base where a fine dispersion is required – for example toners, floral waters, facial refreshers, hair sprays or aromatic sprays for textiles. For thicker emulsions or oils, it is necessary to verify in advance whether the chosen formulation does not clog the sprayer and allows smooth dosing.
Before refilling, we recommend disassembling the bottle into individual parts. The glass container can be rinsed with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and then rinsed with distilled water. After washing, the packaging needs to be disinfected – for example by rinsing or spraying using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Clean the plastic parts of the sprayer gently, without exposing them to extreme temperatures, so that the seals and mechanism are not damaged. Allow all parts to dry completely before refilling.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be emptied, residual contents removed, and placed in the appropriate glass container, while the plastic sprayer (including the tube) is usually sorted as plastic. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging so that no larger product residues remain. Adjust the specific sorting method to local waste collection rules and to the recommendations given with the product.
To select a suitable bottle, pharma bottle or other packaging, you can use the extended filter in the packaging material categories. It is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category. Thanks to the filter, you can clearly sort the packaging by neck type, size, colour or material, and thus quickly narrow down the offer to products that meet the desired design and the technical requirements of your formulation.
When filling, avoid unnecessary contact of the bottle neck and sprayer nozzle with the product or the work surface to reduce the risk of microbial contamination. After filling, always close the bottle carefully and store it in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If you are preparing your own formulations, we recommend making a trial batch and verifying the stability of the product over time, as well as the long-term functionality of the sprayer at the selected viscosity and composition.
