Medical-type glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for professional and artisanal packaging of liquid formulations, especially where stability, purity and precise dosing are important. The smooth, flat shape facilitates labelling and storage, making it a practical choice for manufacturers of cosmetics, aromatherapy as well as laboratory solutions. Thanks to the inert glass, the bottle is suitable for a wide spectrum of liquid products that require minimal interaction with the packaging and long-term aesthetic and functional stability.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing according to the selected product parameters – for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) before filling the entire production batch.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This procedure helps to minimise microbiological risk and protect the stability of your formulations.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with water, washing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly, allowing it to dry and only then disinfecting it with an alcoholic solution (for example IPA or ethanol in technical quality intended for cleaning). For professional applications, it is advisable to adapt the procedure to the internal hygiene and production standards of your manufacturing.

In the advanced filter you can conveniently combine several criteria – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour or the material used. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the offer to bottles, vials or jars that best correspond to your specific product and method of dispensing.
Yes, the shape and material of the bottle make it suitable for development and test samples of cosmetics, laboratory solutions or technical blends. The flat profile makes it easier to describe the contents using labels or laboratory stickers, while the glass material helps to minimise the influence of the formulation by the packaging during stability and compatibility testing.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. Glass packaging is usually placed in the glass container, and it is advisable to empty it of any remaining contents beforehand. The closure, any inserts or dispensers must be sorted separately according to their material (plastic, metal, etc.). By following these principles, you will contribute to effective recycling and waste reduction.
The choice of closure depends on the consistency and purpose of your formulation. For precise dosing of drops, droppers or drop inserts are usually used, for even spraying spray heads are suitable, and for ordinary pouring a standard screw cap is sufficient. We always recommend testing the selected combination of bottle and closure with the specific product to verify sealing, dosing comfort and long-term stability during storage.
