The aluminum bottle represents a practical and professional packaging suitable for carefully prepared formulations where protection of the contents and convenient handling are important. Thanks to its compact shape, the small bottle sits comfortably in the hand, is easy to fill and facilitates dosing of both liquid and slightly viscous products. The smooth aluminum surface is ideal for subsequent labeling or printing, which makes it possible to create a consistent visual identity for your brand.
Aluminum bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems – for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, depending on the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The aluminum bottle can be reused provided that you follow proper hygiene practices. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol of plant origin. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of your products.
After emptying the bottle, we recommend rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Then disinfect the inner surface and the neck with an alcohol-based product (for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured). Before refilling, make sure that no residues of the previous formulation or water remain in the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material stated in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted collection, empty the bottle, remove any remaining contents and, according to local sorting rules, place it in the container intended for metal packaging (or another fraction according to the material designation in the parameter table). Sort the cap separately according to its material. By following these steps, you will support efficient recycling and a reduction in the amount of waste.
The aluminum bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and slightly viscous products, such as toners, facial and body lotions, hair tonics, oil blends or aromatherapeutic compositions. Thanks to the opaque material, it is suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to light and require additional protection during storage and use. For specific or more aggressive formulations, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test with the packaging.
To make it easier to choose packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the filter, you can clearly set the required parameters, such as neck type, packaging size, color and material. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that is most suitable for your specific product and the intended dosing method.
Before launching the product on the market, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test: fill a small amount of the formulation into the bottle, combine it with the selected cap or dispenser and monitor its behavior over several days to weeks. Check the sealing, the functionality of dosing, any changes in scent, color or consistency, as well as any signs of corrosion or changes to the surface. In this way, you can verify that the chosen combination of packaging and formulation is stable and suitable for long-term use.
