Glass bottle – dropper bottle with black spray pump represents a professional packaging solution for liquid cosmetic formulations, light serums or aqueous solutions that require fine and even misting. The dark smoked glass helps to protect the sensitive contents from light, thereby contributing to product stability and a longer lifetime of the active ingredients.
The packaging is designed to combine an aesthetic appearance with practical functionality – the compact glass bottle and fine-mist sprayer allow precise dosing without unnecessary waste. Thanks to the high-quality glass and well-thought-out construction, it is suitable for everyday use in DIY cosmetics, artisan production and smaller professional batches.
This glass bottle with sprayer is supplied as a ready-made combination of bottle + closure, so you can incorporate it into your packaging immediately without ordering additional components. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that the result is optimal for your particular product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are respected. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired out is the packaging ready to be refilled.
The bottle with sprayer is ideal for all liquid formulations that are to be applied in the form of a fine mist – for example facial and body mists, hydrolats, hair sprays, air or textile fresheners and light treatment cures. We always recommend testing the viscosity and behaviour of your specific formula so that the spraying is even and without clogging.
Before first use and when reusing, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and, if necessary, with distilled water. The packaging must then be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act for a while, remove the excess and let the bottle and the sprayer dry completely so that there is no unwanted dilution or influence on your formula.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it and, where possible, removing any product residues. After separating the plastic parts of the sprayer, the glass bottle can be sorted into glass collection according to the rules of local waste management. The sprayer itself consists of plastic components and a spring mechanism, which are sorted according to the instructions of your municipality for plastic or mixed packaging parts. When assigning the packaging to a specific type of sorted waste, follow the information on material composition given in the product parameter table on Handymade.sk and the local recycling rules.
To make it easier to choose the packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and display only those bottles, dropper bottles, jars or pumps that suit your formula. This allows you to quickly find a suitable combination of design and functionality for your specific product.
When filling, we recommend working in a clean environment, using appropriate tools (funnel, measuring cups, pipettes) and not overfilling the bottle above the recommended level so that the sprayer functions correctly and there is no leakage. Store finished products away from direct sunlight and sources of intense heat or cold in order to preserve the stability of the raw materials used and the mechanical reliability of the sprayer. For thicker or highly viscous formulations, always test the dosing in advance and, if necessary, choose a different type of closure or dispenser from the Handymade range.
