The glass dropper bottle with black pipette represents professional packaging for a wide range of liquid preparations where precise and controlled dosing is important. Thanks to the pipette, the container is ideal for products that are used in small amounts, helping to minimise waste and maintain cleanliness during work.
This type of bottle is particularly suitable for filling liquid cosmetic formulations, concentrated blends and other preparations that require hygienic and reliable closure. The dark glass also helps protect the sensitive contents from the effects of light, thereby supporting their longer-term stability.
This glass bottle is supplied together with a pipette, but within the same packaging category you will also find additional dosing components suitable for similar types of containers. They are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the container and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your formulations.
First, mechanically clean the pipette of residues of the original product, for example by rinsing it with a suitable solvent compatible with the raw materials used. Then rinse it with warm water and a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. Before reuse, we recommend disinfecting the internal parts with alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002) and letting all alcohol residues evaporate. Make sure that the pipette is not mechanically damaged and that the rubber parts remain elastic.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend emptying it and removing any product residues in accordance with local regulations for the disposal of cosmetic and chemical substances. Then place the glass body of the packaging into the glass container according to the markings given in the product parameters. The pipette and closure usually consist of several materials (plastic, rubber and possibly metal), so we recommend dismantling them and sorting them according to local recycling guidelines. In case of doubt, follow the pictograms and the information in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk.
It proves to work best for concentrated drop preparations where precise dosing is required – for example for facial and hair oils, serums with active ingredients, aromatherapy blends, herbal extracts for external use or test formulations. Thanks to the pipette, you can easily regulate the amount of product applied and reduce the risk of excessive use.
To select a suitable bottle or dropper bottle, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. You will find it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles, dropper bottles or cosmetic packaging). In the advanced filter, you can filter packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material, which will significantly simplify the selection of the optimal solution for your formulation and the planned dosing method.
Before starting larger-scale production, we recommend filling a smaller test quantity of the product into the packaging and observing it over several days to weeks. Check in particular the tightness of the closure and pipette, changes in the product’s odour, colour or consistency, and any signs of corrosion, cloudiness or surface deterioration. Store the bottle under conditions similar to those in which the product will actually be used. In this way you will verify that the chosen packaging is suitable and stable for your specific formulation.
