Apricot kernel oil is created by cold pressing the kernels of the apricot (Prunus armeniaca). The oil is of organic BIO origin and has a quality certificate from the SOIL ASSOCIATION.
It is very similar to almond or peach oil. Apricot oil is rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, B6 and B17 (no other oil contains it), it also contains vitamin E.
Its properties, golden colour and nutty aroma, make it suitable for use in face creams, facial and body massage products (as an alternative to almond and grape seed oil) and hair products. The high oleic acid content ensures easier absorption into the skin than other oils.
