The category of chelating agents includes raw materials that bind metal ions (mainly Fe and Cu) present in water and raw materials. This reduces the risk of oxidation, discolouration and cloudiness, while promoting the effectiveness of preservatives in emulsions, gels, tonics and cleansers.
The range includes a plant-based phosphate chelator for nature-based formulations and a next-generation chelator based on an amino acid derivative. Both solutions are water-soluble and easily integrated into the aqueous phase at common dosages used in cosmetics.
