Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold Black Pump With Clear Overcap, 100 ml

The glass bottle with pump combines a clear glass medicine bottle with a volume of 100 ml and a plastic pump in a glossy black and gold finish with a clear overcap. The set is intended for cosmetic products that are dispensed in small amounts and should not come into contact with fingers: facial serums, face and body oils, light emulsions or liquid cleansing products. How the set works

The pump screws directly onto the neck of the medicine bottle, and the tube reaches almost to the bottom and draws up the contents down to the last millilitres. The clear overcap protects the pump opening from dust during storage and transport and is removed before use. The pump body is made of polypropylene and aluminium, and the glossy black and gold surface looks striking on a shelf even at a small volume.

When using it for the first time, prime the pump by pressing it several times until the tube fills and starts to dispense the product. Good to know

Nominal volume is the volume the medicine bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them forms a reserve for the tube and valve of the pump and for possible expansion of the contents with a change in temperature. Therefore, fill the bottle up to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Clear glass does not provide light protection. Store formulations with essential oils, vitamin C, retinoids or oils prone to oxidation out of direct sunlight. If they are to stand in the light for longer, choose amber or blue glass instead.

Before the first filling, wash the medicine bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let it dry completely. Rinse the pump with clean water or alcohol and dry it well so that no water remains in the tube. The glass withstands repeated use; repeat the cleaning procedure before each refill. The glass bottle belongs in glass recycling; the pump is a combination of plastic and aluminium and is separated from the medicine bottle before disposal.
