Product description

Mentha spicata essential oil has a wide range of uses, including soothing effects on skin problems, headaches, nausea, vomiting, respiratory problems and cold symptoms.

Peppermint oil belongs to the Lamiaceae family. This oil has a fresh minty scent reminiscent of peppermint. The main difference is that spearmint oil is sweeter and not as strong. It is classified as a top note and blends well with citrus, earthy, herbal, minty and woody oils.

It also acts as an excellent insect repellent.

All raw materials supplied are cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Please use appropriate protective equipment when handling.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils should be used for inhalation or in your cosmetic products, we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils or also essential oils are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants - stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have protective effects. Their chemical composition is quite complicated. Essential oils are most often obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier plant oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be applied directly.

Use appropriate protective equipment when handling the oils.

Essential oils are fat soluble, so if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent/solubilizer.
