Is the airless bottle also suitable for thicker creams and emulsions?

The airless bottle is designed to reliably dispense liquid and semi-liquid products, including lighter creams and emulsions. For extremely thick formulations, we recommend first testing the dosing on a smaller amount in order to verify the smooth operation of the pump and the even extrusion of the contents.

Can I reuse the packaging even after the original product has been used up?

The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, the dispensing mechanism and all removable parts. For disinfection we recommend using technical alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, for example the products available on Handymade: IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for refilling.

How should I correctly fill the airless bottle so that the system works without air entrainment?

It is advisable to pour in the contents slowly in order to minimize the ingress of air bubbles into the container. After filling, we recommend closing the bottle with the dispensing part and then pressing the pump several times until the system fills and starts dispensing the product. If bubbles appear, gently tapping the bottle can help to release them and ensure the smooth operation of the airless mechanism.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it according to the information about the material stated in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, we recommend removing any product residues and, in the case of a combination of several materials (for example, the bottle body and the pump), separating the individual parts where possible. Then sort them into the appropriate container according to the type of plastic or other material in line with local recycling rules.
