Glass vial with black ribbed child-resistant cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquid preparations. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light, thereby contributing to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents. In combination with a functional safety cap, this bottle is ideal for products where protection of the contents, controlled opening and reliable sealing are important.
Individual glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally considered a very stable and inert packaging material, so it is usually suitable for oil blends, alcohol solutions or preparations with a higher proportion of active substances. Nevertheless, we recommend that with every new formulation you make a small trial batch, monitor the behaviour of the product in the vial and verify the sealing of the closure during normal use.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the vial and cap must be carefully washed, thoroughly rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill them with the chosen preparation.
We recommend storing filled vials tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Dark glass already helps reduce the impact of light, but the optimal storage conditions always depend on the nature of the specific product – therefore follow the recommendations for your formulation and the usual principles for storing cosmetics or technical solutions.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the vial can usually be placed, after basic rinsing, into the container designated for glass, while the plastic or combined cap belongs, depending on its composition, among plastics or mixed waste. Before recycling, check the parameter table for the product and follow the local waste-sorting rules in your municipality.
