Is this glass bottle suitable also for thicker products, or only for liquids?

The bottle with spray pump is primarily intended for low‑viscosity liquids that create a fine mist – for example toners, hydrolats, light serums and aqueous solutions. With thicker emulsions or oil blends, spraying can be less smooth, so we recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the selected packaging before final filling.

How should I properly prepare the bottle for the first filling with cosmetics?

Before first use we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the packaging. Wash the glass bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse well and allow to dry. Then disinfect the inner surface and the thread with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. We also recommend disinfecting the spray pump itself in the part that comes into contact with the product.

Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must first be mechanically cleaned, thoroughly rinsed and then disinfected, ideally with a suitable alcohol – for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or with ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. We also recommend checking the condition of the spray pump (spring function, cleanliness of the channels) and replacing it in case of mechanical wear so that dosing remains reliable and hygienic.

How should I correctly recycle the glass bottle and the spray pump if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass part of the bottle in the container designated for glass according to local sorting rules. The plastic spray pump must be separated from the glass and sorted into the appropriate plastic fraction according to local recommendations. When recycling, always follow the information about the packaging material in the parameter table and the guidelines of your collection system.
