Glass bottle medicine vial 28 mm 50 ml is a universal packaging suitable for professional and home filling of liquid preparations, cosmetic blends and concentrated solutions. High-quality glass ensures the stability of stored formulations, easy inspection of the contents and enables safe dosing in everyday use. Thanks to the precise finish of the neck, this small bottle is suitable for combining with various types of closures and dispensing systems, which makes it a practical packaging for laboratory, cosmetic and artisan use.
Glass medicine vials are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected directly in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for preparations with a high content of alcohol, acids or strongly aromatic components.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To select a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material category. You can find it at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category, where you can conveniently filter according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This allows you to easily narrow down the offer to packaging that matches the required type of closure, volume and the visual style of your product.
Yes, you can safely reuse the glass bottle if you follow hygiene principles. However, before each new filling it is necessary to wash the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured in a quality suitable for cleaning packaging, which you can find in the Handymade range, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the bottle and the closure dry completely and only then fill them again.
This glass medicine vial is suitable for packaging liquid and low-viscosity preparations where dosing accuracy and good stability of the contents are important. In practice, it is used mainly for serums, toners, oil blends, active concentrates, laboratory solutions and aromatherapeutic preparations. When selecting the specific use, we recommend also taking into account the type of planned closure or dispenser so that it corresponds to the viscosity and character of the formulation.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the selected closure first with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and subsequently disinfecting them using alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment with alcohol, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely in a clean place. Only when the glass is dry and free of residues of cleaning agents is it ready to be filled with your final product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recommendations given in the product parameter table on the Handymade website. Glass parts can usually be handed over, after emptying and basic cleaning of product residues, to a container intended for glass, while the closure or dispenser is sorted according to the specified material (for example plastic or metal). Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to separate the glass bottle from the closure to facilitate proper processing of the individual materials in the recycling process.
