The glass medicine bottle with black-gold spray pump represents an elegant and practical packaging for products where gentle and even dosing is important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise spraying mechanism, it is suitable for filling liquid formulations that require hygienic application without direct contact with the contents. The darker glass helps to limit the penetration of light to more sensitive components and contributes to the stability and protection of the contents.
This product represents a ready-made combination of a glass medicine bottle and a spray pump, designed to provide reliable and convenient dosing. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for recipes containing a high proportion of alcohol, essential oils or acids.

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container and the spray pump must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely so that no residual water or impurities get into the new batch.
The spray pump is ideal for thin to medium-thin liquids on a water or hydroalcoholic basis, such as facial waters, toners, refreshers and room or textile sprays. Thick emulsions or oil blends with higher viscosity can reduce the smoothness of spraying, so for new formulations it is always advisable to test functionality on a small trial batch.
First remove the spray pump from the bottle and rinse it in warm water with a gentle cleaning agent that does not leave a greasy film. Then we recommend flushing the tube and internal mechanism with clean water until the stream runs completely clear. After rinsing, you can spray a small amount of alcohol through it, which supports disinfection and faster drying. Do not use aggressive solvents or very hot water in order to avoid damaging the plastic parts of the dispenser.
If you decide not to continue using the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle is usually placed in the glass container after removal of any remaining contents. The spray pump and plastic parts should be separated and placed in the appropriate plastic waste stream according to local sorting rules. In case of doubt, follow the recommendations of your waste collection company so that recycling is as effective as possible.
