The glass bottle with spray pump represents a professional packaging solution for gentle and precise dosing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the practical mechanical spray pump, it is suitable for filling cosmetic formulations as well as concentrated blends, where hygienic application without direct contact with the contents is important. The darker glass also helps to reduce light penetration to the product, thereby supporting the stability and shelf life of sensitive components.
This product forms a ready-made combination of a glass bottle with spray pump, so it is prepared for direct filling and use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify suitability for the specific recipe and the viscosity of the product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly for various liquid products, provided hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol products offered by Handymade). After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely so that the new formulation is not diluted and the stability and safety of the product are maintained.
First we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent and removing all residues of the previous product. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water and allow it to drain. As a disinfection step, use high-percentage alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol, with which you rinse or spray the inner surface and then allow it to air dry. It is also advisable to spray alcohol through the spray mechanism itself so that the disinfection is complete.
Glass material is generally suitable for preparations containing essential oils as well as alcohol, because it is chemically stable and does not react with most cosmetic and aromatherapeutic components. However, for higher concentrations of essential oils or alcohol we recommend always producing a small test batch, filling the bottle with it and observing the behaviour of the spray pump over several days (smoothness of operation, shape of the mist, sealing). In this way you can verify whether the chosen formulation affects the long-term functionality of the mechanism.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging any more, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials specified in the product parameters. Empty the glass part of the bottle, rinse it if necessary and place it in a container intended for glass. It is advisable to separate the spray pump and any plastic components and sort them according to the type of plastic indicated on the packaging or in the product description. Always follow local waste sorting rules so that the individual materials are processed as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible.
When selecting a suitable bottle or other type of packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material, and thus choose packaging that corresponds to your formulation and the intended method of dosing. Filtering will make it easier for you to navigate the assortment and help you find packaging that will suit your product both technically and visually.
