The glass bottle made of high-quality matte brown glass represents a reliable container for professional and artisan packaging of cosmetics and concentrated blends. The dark glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, thereby contributing to the stability of the product during storage and use. Thanks to the precise finish of the neck, the bottle is suitable for packaging liquid, oily and slightly viscous preparations, for which clean dosing and secure closure are important.
The glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for oil serums, vegetable oils, aromatherapeutic and perfume blends, as well as other concentrated liquid formulations. The stable glass material helps minimize interactions with the contents, and the matte brown glass supports the protection of light-sensitive components during storage. When selecting a suitable closure or dropper, we recommend verifying dosing accuracy on a small test batch.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbial contamination and to avoid affecting the fragrance or colour of the new product by residues of the previous fill. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in cosmetic grade, which you can find on Handymade as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely and only then refill it.
When filling, we recommend labelling each container with a label including the product name, composition, filling date and any batch number, so that you can keep track of origin and durability. Always store the bottles tightly closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Such conditions help maintain the stability of the contents and the properties of the glass, which is especially important for concentrated oils and active substances.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the recommendations listed in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Glass containers are usually placed in the container designated for glass; empty the bottle first and remove any product residues. Plastic or metal parts of the closure should be sorted according to the material specified in the technical parameters of the packaging. By following these principles, you support responsible recycling and the reuse of raw materials.
To choose suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the filter you can easily set parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging. This allows you to quickly narrow the offer to only those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that meet the requirements of your specific product, whether it is intended for cosmetics, aromatherapy or laboratory use.
