FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can the glass medicine bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only then is the packaging ready for safe refilling with a new formulation.

How should the oil dispenser be properly cleaned before further use?

We recommend first thoroughly rinsing the dispenser with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, making sure to remove all residues of the original product. Then allow the individual parts to dry thoroughly and finally apply an alcohol-based disinfectant to minimize the risk of microbial contamination when filling a new batch. Before reuse, check the dosing functionality as well as the tightness of the connection with the bottle.

Is this glass bottle suitable for very viscous or thick oils?

The medicine bottle with dispenser is primarily intended for liquid to medium-viscosity oil formulations, for which smooth dripping or application can be ensured. For very thick oils or gels, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the fluidity of the product allows comfortable dosing. If necessary, a different type of closure or packaging specifically designed for viscous products can be chosen.

How can the glass medicine bottle be safely disposed of or recycled if I do not want to use it again?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend its proper recycling according to the material composition stated in the product parameters. After removing any product residues, the glass bottle should be placed in a container intended for glass, while plastic or combined closures should be sorted according to the relevant fraction. When sorting, follow the local rules of the recycling system and the information in the parameter table so that the material is recovered as efficiently as possible.
