Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling, while strict hygiene principles must be observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the nasal sprayer. For disinfection of the glass packaging and components made of rigid plastics you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after all parts have dried thoroughly is the bottle ready to be refilled.

First, disassemble the packaging – separate the bottle from the nasal applicator. Rinse the glass container thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinse with clean water and disinfect using alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured). Gently rinse the plastic parts, spray them with disinfectant alcohol and let them dry completely at room temperature. Reassemble the packaging only after the alcohol has completely evaporated, so that no undesired dilution of the contents occurs.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types stated in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be handed over to glass collection after removing any remaining contents. The plastic nasal sprayer and other plastic components are sorted into the appropriate container for plastics, unless local sorting rules state otherwise. Before handing the packaging over for collection, always empty it and, if possible, rinse it to minimise residues of the original product.

This type of packaging is ideal for liquid nasal preparations with low to medium viscosity, such as moisturizing and saline solutions, herbal and aromatherapeutic blends intended for inhalation through the nose, or for testing new nasal spray formulas in smaller series.
