Product description

Illipe butter is extracted from the nuts of the large Shorea stenoptera tree, which originally comes from Borneo. It has a slight characteristic smell and a creamy white colour. Our Illipe butter has a creamy consistency, but it is a pure butter, it has not been processed by hydrogenation.

Melting point: 34-38°C.

It has been used for centuries to restore the vitality and elasticity of the skin. It contains oleic, palmitic, stearic and linoleic acids. It is excellent in soaps. Illipe butter helps protect the skin from UV-A and UV-B rays and is popularly used in sun protection and after-sun products. Its ability to soften the skin and its long-lasting moisturizing properties make it ideal for dry, damaged and chapped skin.

You will appreciate it in creams, body lotions, soaps, body and hair balms (especially suitable for dry and damaged hair) or lip balms.
