The glass medicine bottle with black spray pump represents a practical and aesthetic solution for precise dosing of liquid formulations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the high-quality glass and spraying in small doses, this packaging is ideal for products where consumption control, user comfort and a professional appearance of the finished product are important. The combination of the glass bottle and the functional spray pump enables hygienic application without direct contact with the contents, which supports the stability and longer durability of a correctly formulated product.
This bottle with spray pump is supplied as a ready-made set of packaging and functional dosing component, optimised for convenient spraying of the liquid fill. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that your particular product will work in the long term as expected.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When developing the formula and selecting a suitable container, we recommend taking into account the viscosity of the product, the presence of alcohol or essential oils and the desired character of spraying. A correctly chosen combination of packaging and formulation contributes to longer stability of the fill, convenient use and minimisation of waste during dosing.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with proper care and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant ethanol. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for reuse with a new fill.
With frequent use or with thicker formulations, the nozzle may gradually become clogged. We recommend regularly flushing the spray pump with warm (not boiling) water, or with water containing a small amount of mild detergent, and finally spraying through with clean water to remove product residues. With products with a higher oil content, a short spray-through with alcohol helps, as it dissolves deposits. Avoid mechanically piercing the nozzle with sharp objects to prevent damage.
The spray pump works best with low-viscosity, freely flowing solutions – for example hydrolats, water-based toners, alcohol sprays, light hair or body sprays and aromatic solutions. With formulations that are too thick, gel textures and highly oily blends, suction or spray distribution may worsen, so it is advisable first to prepare a trial batch and test the behaviour of the product in the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and separating the individual parts. According to normal sorting rules, the glass body of the bottle belongs in the container designated for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the spray pump should be sorted according to local waste management guidelines. Before discarding, remove product residues to facilitate recycling processing. Always adapt specific recycling recommendations to the material information given in the product parameters and to local waste sorting rules.
To make it easier to select packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. The extended filter allows you to search according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This enables you to quickly narrow down the range to bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that best correspond to your specific formulation and visual concept.
For the first filling, we recommend preparing a small trial batch of the product and filling the bottle only partially. Observe whether the spray pump doses evenly, whether there is any leakage around the thread area and whether the chosen formulation affects the appearance or function of the packaging over several days. Also pay attention to how the product behaves during storage under normal conditions (temperature, light, handling). Such testing will help you fine-tune the formula as well as the selection of the ideal packaging before final production of a larger quantity.
