The transparent round jar is a universal container suitable for packing loose cosmetics, balms, creams or small bath accessories. The stable plastic container enables safe and well-organised storage of products, thanks to which you always have the contents under visual control and can quickly check their consistency and volume. The practical shape makes manual filling easier as well as convenient dispensing for home or professional production.
The jar is suitable for packing various powder, gel and semi-solid preparations, where cleanliness, hygienic sealing and protection against contamination from the external environment are important. The rigid material reduces the risk of damage during transport and everyday use, so it is ideal for artisan production, small brands and hobby makers.
Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the solution suits your particular product.

The jar can be reused provided you follow basic hygiene principles and the material does not show any signs of damage. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the container thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination during further use.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the jar with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface and the areas coming into contact with the product with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the jar ready to be filled.
The jar is also suitable for storage in the bathroom, where increased humidity is common, provided it is always carefully closed and does not come into direct contact with water. It is recommended to prevent water from remaining on the thread or at the closing point, as this may affect the cleanliness of the contents. For the longest possible stability of the product, it is advisable to store it at the recommended temperature and away from direct sunlight.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the extended filter, it is possible to filter clearly according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you will quickly display only those bottles, jars or pots that meet the requirements of your product and filling technology.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, it is recommended to empty it, remove any product residue and, according to the type of material, place it in the appropriate sorted waste in accordance with local recycling rules. Information about the material can be found in the product parameters for the given jar on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to rinse the container roughly so that no larger residue of the filling remains inside.
