Product description

Bentonite is a natural clay with a high content of montmorillonite, a volcanic ash. It is one of the most effective clays for cosmetic purposes. High quality bentonite has a creamy grey colour, (due to the high content of iron and magnesium ions it can also have a greenish grey colour) a very fine texture and is odourless.

Its characteristic feature is that it swells intensively when water is added and can reach up to 12 times its original volume. It is because of this astringent property that it can draw oils and toxins out of the skin. It is suitable for normal to oily skin types, and once a week use is recommended.

The clays are miscible with water and insoluble in oils.

You can use it in face masks and wraps, or also as part of your creams, BB creams, baths, etc.
