MICA or also mica is a natural dye, pigment powder, which is obtained from mica. It is insoluble and has pearly, metallic or chameleon shades. These microscopic particles of mica in cosmetic products reflect or decompose light to naturally cover imperfections and brighten the skin.

MICA dyes are particularly useful in manufacturing:

- mineral make-up,

- powders,

- eye shadows,

- lip glosses,

- lip balms and lipsticks,

- skin creams,

- nail polishes,

- soaps

When using in candles, it is necessary to test the wick for proper burning, as some combinations may clog the wick. They are excellent for finishing the surface of an already formed candle.

Store MICA powders in a sealed container at room temperature, protect from moisture and direct sunlight and they will last up to 5 years.

The MICA powders in our range are the purest cosmetic grade mica in the EU, have never been tested on animals and are suitable for vegans.

All glitters, two-tone pigments as well as MICA powders/pigments in our range are sourced preferably from manufacturers in the USA, Europe and Asia, thus guaranteeing quality and also assuring that we do not source from India where child labour is exploited for extremely hard work in the mines.
