FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this glass dropper bottle suitable for thicker oils or only for light liquids?

The glass dropper bottle is intended for packaging various types of liquids, including lighter and medium-viscosity oil formulations. For thicker oils and concentrates, we recommend choosing a suitable type of closure or dropper so that it provides comfortable dosing and at the same time reliable sealing. Before filling the entire batch, it is appropriate to test the flow rate and dosing with the specific formulation.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, but it is recommended to maintain a clear separation between product types (for example between different fragrances or types of active substances). Before each new filling, the dropper bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based and allow the packaging to dry completely before further use.

How should I properly clean the glass dropper bottle before refilling it?

Before refilling, it is appropriate to remove the remains of the original product as thoroughly as possible, rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or a neutral detergent and then rinse it thoroughly with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the closure with an alcohol-based preparation (for example with IPA or ethanol), letting the packaging air out and allowing it to dry completely. Only then is it ready for new filling with a minimised risk of microbial contamination.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle the glass dropper bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. After being emptied and basically cleaned, the glass bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while plastic or combined closures are usually sorted into the appropriate container according to their material (you will find the information in the product parameters). Before throwing it away, check the current recycling markings and recommendations in your region so that the packaging is disposed of in a way that is as environmentally friendly as possible.
