The plastic jar represents a universal packaging solution suitable for filling creamy, gel-based and loose products where protection of the contents against contamination and convenient dosing are important. The stable construction of the jar enables safe storage as well as frequent opening and closing, which you will appreciate during regular use in cosmetics, artisan production and in the household.
Thanks to its practical shape and high-quality plastic material, the jar is suitable for various types of mixtures – from thicker ointments and balms to fine powder formulations. The smooth surface of the packaging also makes labelling easier, so you can easily adapt the jar to your own brand or project.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for thicker creamy and buttery formulations such as body butters, balms or ointments. The wide neck and shape of the container make it easier to scoop out the product with fingers or a spatula. Before final use, we recommend testing the compatibility of the packaging with your specific formulation, especially if it contains a higher proportion of oils or active substances.
The jar can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the stability of the final product.
If you do not plan to use the jar repeatedly, we recommend its recycling according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product. Before handing it over to sorted waste, empty the packaging and, where possible, rinse out any product residues. Then place it in the appropriate sorted-waste container according to local collection rules. In this way you support responsible handling of packaging material and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
When filling, it is important to work in the cleanest conditions possible, use clean tools and avoid unnecessary contact of the product with the skin before closing the jar. Do not fill the product at extremely high temperatures and do not store it near direct sources of heat or intense sunlight. This protects not only the packaging itself but also the stability and quality of the stored product.
The easiest way is to use the extended filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering panel appears at the top of the page, where you can choose suitable parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches your specific product and technological requirements.
