Is this plastic jar suitable for thick creams as well as loose mixtures?

Yes, thanks to its shape and smooth walls, the jar is suitable for thick creams, butters, balms as well as for loose or granulated mixtures. For more viscous formulations we recommend filling the jar more slowly to minimise the trapping of air bubbles and to achieve an even distribution of the product.

How should I correctly prepare the jar before the first filling?

Before filling, it is advisable to check the jar, remove any dust and follow basic hygiene procedures during work. In professional cosmetic manufacturing, it is recommended to clean and disinfect the packaging before use according to your internal standards, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and to extend product stability during storage.

Can I reuse this jar for new refills?

The jar can be reused for home as well as craft use, provided that hygiene rules are strictly observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging mechanically, remove residues of the original contents and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available in the offer, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After thorough drying, the jar is ready for refilling.

How should I correctly recycle the jar if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. Before placing it in the appropriate container, it is advisable to remove product residues, any labels and to free the plastic as far as possible from coarse impurities. Then sort it into the container intended for that type of plastic waste in accordance with local collection rules. In this way you will support more efficient material processing and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
